Dave has more than 23 years’ experience in tiling, having joined the industry upon leaving school and gaining a City & Guilds Advanced Craft qualification through an apprenticeship. As well leading training at BAL, Dave works with colleges and independent training colleges across the UK developing and updating vocational tiling qualifications. He is also actively involved in The Tile Association and is chairman of the TTA Supply Chain Committee, as well as an active member of the TTA Fixer Training Committee. Dave is also Lead Judge for SkillBuild – the UK’s biggest construction skills competition.
