BAL strengthens specification support team

Building Adhesives Ltd, the market-leading manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts, sealants and ancillary products, has continued to strengthen its specification support team with the appointment of William McLachlan as Business Development Manager.

William will work with architects, designers and specifiers in the London area supporting them on M40/M20 specification, providing project support and delivering RIBA-accredited CPDs.

William joins BAL from Porcelanosa where he worked as Commercial Specification Manager for the company’s entire product portfolio, working with architects, designers and contractors on large UK and international-based projects.

Previously he worked as Business Development Manager for Porcelanosa’s Noken brand, raising brand awareness and developing opportunities through regional house-builders, developers, architects, independent retailers, trade and commercial contracts sales.

Matthew’s role includes working with architects, designers and specifiers to support them on M40/M20 specifications, deliver project support and provide RIBA-accredited CPDs.

Matthew has more than 14 years’ experience in architecture and design specification working for tile manufacturers and distributors including Porcelanosa, CTD/Worlds End Tiles, Domus and H&R Johnsons.

He has worked with architects and interior designers including Fosters, Gensler, BDP, Johnson Naylor and Zaha Hadid on projects including The Heron Tower, Helter Skelter and the Deutsche Bank HQ in London.
